We're growing our team here in Kansas City, MO. About the job:
      • Excellent customer service is always your top priority
      • You observe, survey the area and provide reporting on the activity at your assigned location.
      • You provide rapid response in critical situations.
      • You're good at reading and writing detailed reports.
      • You know when and how to enforce customer procedures, regulations, and standards.
      • Access control responsibilities.
      • Reporting anything out of the ordinary...damages, trespassers and etc.
      • Sounding the alarm when local Police presence is required.
      • Notifying personnel of any situation requiring immediate attention.
      • Hourly foot patrols of client campus consisting of multiple buildings.
      • Navigate ALL of the structures through routine foot patrols and vehicle patrols (company golf cart).
      • Checking all doors for security and/or damage.
      • Maintaining the security of displays of clients and vendors.
      • CCTV (security camera) monitoring of entire campus.
      • Other duties as assigned.
      • On-the-job training provided.Your background:
        • You have a high school education or equivalent (GED)
        • You're able to pass an extensive screening process
        • Must be at least 18 years of age.
        • Strong customer service skills.
        • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
        • CPR + AED certifications (GARDAWORLD will help to obtain through training).
        • Must be physically capable of walking long distances and climbing stairs.
        • KCMO professional security license or ability to obtain (GARDAWORLD will help to obtain this license during our hiring process).
