Job Description:
A company is looking for a Staff Accountant.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities, including
financial reporting and compliance
Monitor bank accounts, manage cash flow, and oversee reserve draw
processes
Compile financial reports for audits and tax preparation, ensuring
accuracy and completeness
Required Qualifications:
3+ years of accounting experience, preferably in property
management or real estate
Proficiency with Yardi or equivalent property management software
and advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Accounting, Finance,
or a related field
Experience with affordable housing programs (Project-based Section
8, Section 202, LIHTC) is helpful
Strong time management and organizational skills to balance
multiple priorities
