We are looking for a Principal Architect who can lead the design
and implementation of large cross-platform solutions to enable and
optimize our digital marketing strategies. The Principal Architect
leverages their deep understanding of digital marketing to develop
innovative solutions and strategies to align overall solution
architecture to the digital marketing strategy. They will
contribute to digital marketing strategies by using best practices
and integrating data and services from multiple internal and
external sources to ensure that marketing campaigns and solutions
are optimized and fine-tuned to provide data driven insights.
The Principal Architect for the MarTech Digital Team at T-Mobile
will be responsible for designing and architecting complex
solutions that integrate enterprise systems with the Adobe
Experience Platform and a suite of Adobe applications. This role
focuses on capturing data analytics, creating personalized and
contextual user experiences, optimizing media, and providing
opportunities for A/B testing of web and mobile applications.
They own the E2E solution design strategy across teams, and partner
with other architects. They make recommendations for new procedures
and overall architectural approach, partnering with senior level
Architects. They exercise judgement in methods, techniques and
evaluation criteria for obtaining results. They create formal
networks involving coordination among groups and provide informal
supervision of other's work assignments.Job
Responsibilities:Strategy
- Owns solution design for multiple cross domain initiatives and
works across domains to ensure cohesive solution.
- Reviews and identifies the gaps in the architecture and
solution designs, assesses and defines remediation efforts or
mitigation options.
- Drives to practical solutions considering all teams,
initiatives and long-term outlook.
- Makes and implements complex decisions aimed at improving the
quality, effectiveness or ability to achieve revenue, profitability
and strategic goals for the organization.Innovation and Leadership
- Lead the overall technical design and end-toend solution design
for assigned initiatives.
- Ensures quality, consistency and alignment of designs to TMUS
standards and digital strategy.
- Leads large cross domain initiatives that are supported by E2E
Design, E2E Arch applies digital standards to project Solution
Architecture, drives Technical Strategy and architectural tradeoff
discussions.
- Leads the technical design process for applicable cross domain
initiatives. (Capable of leading Sr. Architects on initiatives that
are divided into multiple work streams.)
- Accomplishes organization goals by accepting ownership for
accomplishing new and different requests; explores opportunities to
add value to job accomplishments.
- Balances constraints in IT, business, delivery to deliver
optimal architecture for an initiative.
- Leads design orchestration on large-sized initiatives or work
streams.
- Provides input into the definition of Digital Architecture
standards as they are created.Technology and System
- Owns technical solution on cross domain initiatives. Develops
innovative solutions and technology strategy. Owns E2E solution
design strategy across teams.
- Support the definition and adoption of common software
development processes.
- Prepares and maintains design deliverables that include
architecture diagrams, data models, and API / micro-service
architecture.
- Enforces design process standards on assigned initiatives.
- Writes advanced documentation, architecture, capabilities,
limitations, and advantages for technologies.
- Produces advanced documentation and literature for multiple
disciplines.
- Clearly describes architecture, design strategies, standards,
technical specifications, business benefits, opportunities and
threats. Routinely creates and presents executive and external
materials, including white papers.
- Actively contributes to industry publications and professional
forums.Relationship, People Management and Project Management
- Interacts with Senior management to shape and align solutions
against desired minimum viable product scope.
- Applies a broad understanding of the products, systems and
technologies across the business portfolio and deep technical
ability on integration of these components to deliver a cohesive
E2E solution architecture for a given initiative.
- Translates business requirements into technical requirements
that the system analysts and other technical team members drive
into the project design and delivery.Education:
- Bachelor's Degree In lieu of Bachelor's degree, equivalent
industry experience may be considered. (Required)Work Experience:
- 7-10 years Related work experience. (Required)
- 7-10 years Progressive experience in software
engineering/enterprise architecture/technology leadership across
multiple products, systems and/or platforms coupled with strong
business acumen and executive presence. (Required)
- 7-10 years Experience working in solutions design and
enterprise architecture delivering IT solutions. (Required)
- 7-10 years Experience in Enterprise applications, PLM,
middle-tier services, database, storage, distributed computing,
virtualization and/or application technology. (Required)
- 7-10 years Experience designing and/or implementing solutions
for any of the following: Web Content Management, Personalization,
Customer Data Platforms, Rich internet applications, Web & Social
Analytics, Marketing Automation, Online Ad targeting (Preferred)

practices on topics such as personalization, cross channel
marketing, data driven optimization of experience, real-time data
integrations. (Preferred) Additional Information about the role and

- Design and architect solutions that integrate enterprise
systems with the Adobe Experience Platform and other Adobe
applications. Examples include: Adobe Analytics, Target, Journey
Optimizer, Customer Journey Analytics, RT-CDP, and
Decisioning.
- Lead the development of personalized and contextual user
experiences across web and mobile platforms.
- Capture and analyze data to optimize media and improve customer
engagement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless
integration of enterprise solutions for data analysis.
- Provide opportunities for A/B testing to enhance the
performance of web and mobile applications.
- Mentor and guide other architects and engineers within the
team.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in MarTech
and digital marketing.
- Experience with data analytics, media optimization, and A/B
testing.
- Knowledge of other MarTech platforms and tools.
- Certification in Adobe Experience Platform or related

- The pay range above is the general base pay range for a

eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus,

year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and
which is set at a percentage of the employee's eligible earnings in

monthly bonuses based on individual and/or team performance, while
