About this Role
The Executive Vice President (EVP) of Project Management will
oversee the strategic planning, execution, and delivery of all
projects within the company. This role involves leading a team of
project managers, ensuring projects are completed on time, within
budget, and to the highest quality standards. The EVP will play a
critical role in shaping project management practices, driving
operational excellence, and supporting the company's growth
objectives.
What You'll Do
- Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and implement the strategic vision and direction for
the project management division.
- Align project management strategies with the company's overall
business objectives.
- Collaborate with the executive team to drive innovation,
sustainability, and efficiency in project execution.
- Project Oversight:
- Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of all projects,
ensuring they meet established timelines, budgets, and quality
standards.
- Implement and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to
track project performance and identify areas for
improvement.
- Ensure robust project management processes, methodologies, and
best practices are in place and followed.
- Financial Management:
- Develop and manage the project management division's budget,
ensuring financial efficiency and accountability.
- Evaluate and approve project expenditures, contracts, and
financial commitments.
- Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives without
compromising project quality or timelines.
- Team Leadership and Development:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of project
managers, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and
continuous improvement.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide
professional development opportunities for team members.
- Ensure the project management team has the necessary resources,
training, and support to succeed.
- Risk Management and Compliance:
- Identify and manage project risks, developing mitigation
strategies to address potential issues.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, standards, and
industry best practices.
- Oversee the preparation and submission of regulatory reports
and documentation as required.
- Stakeholder Engagement:
- Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including
clients, suppliers, contractors, and community partners.
- Represent the company at industry conferences, meetings, and
events, promoting the company's project management capabilities and
achievements.
- Address and resolve any issues or concerns from stakeholders
related to project execution.
What You'll Bring
Required Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business
Administration, Engineering, or a related field; MBA or relevant
advanced degree preferred.
- A minimum of 15 years of experience in project management, with
at least 7 years in a senior leadership role.
- Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale
projects and project portfolios.
- In-depth knowledge of project management methodologies, tools,
and best practices.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving
skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the
ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and
external stakeholders.
- High level of integrity and commitment to quality, safety, and
environmental stewardship.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools, such as

Preferred Education and Experience
- Master's degree or PMP certification.
- Financial acumen for budget development and management.
