Apply for our RN Manager of Senior Behavioral Health role today!Job Summary and QualificationsThe manager is responsible for integrating their department's services with the hospitals primary functions. The manager coordinates and integrates services within their department(s) and with other departments. The manager develops and implements policies and procedures that guide and support the provision of services. The manager recommends a sufficient number of qualified and competent persons to provide care/service and assures the qualifications and competence of those staff members (who are not licensed independent practitioners) meet the needs of patient care and non-patient care services. The manager provides orientation, in-service training, and continuing education of all persons in their department(s). The manager continuously assesses and improves their department's performance and maintains appropriate quality control programs. The manager recommends space and other resources needed by the department and participates in selecting outside resources needed by their department(s). The Adult Unit Nurse Manager provides care for the Adult population and facilitate group.What qualifications you will need:
  • Graduate from an accredited school of nursing with either an ADN or BSN degree. BSN or MSN preferred.
  • Must hold a current license from the Missouri Board of Nursing. CPR and NVCI required upon hire or within three months of hire.
  • Four to six years of related experience or training in a psychiatric inpatient setting. One to two years supervisory experience is required. Must have one to two years experience working with acute, inpatient psychiatric patients and have demonstrated knowledge of the developmental emotional and physical needs of the adult patient. - is a 585+ bed hospital.
