We play to win, and we are all-in together.We were recognized as one of Glassdoor's "Best Places to Work".About the RoleThe Senior Manager of Technology Shared Services will bring standardization and efficiency to Technology documentation, intake, procurement, and tool strategy. This role will be responsible for delivering critical Technology initiatives that will drive efficiencies across the BetMGM business landscape to support business objectives. The Senior Manager of Technology Shared Services will be a catalyst for changes in ways of working by promoting collaboration, documentation, and communication with internal Technology teams and cross-functionally. This role will be responsible for promoting standardized documentation, prioritizing and assigning Technology Shared Services requests, coordinating the implementation and maintenance of a Technology knowledge-based solution and documentation procedures, aligning with various Technology leaders on the Technology budget, maintaining vendor relationships with enterprise tool providers, and collaborating with stakeholders to produce required Technology documentation and communications. This role will also be responsible for collecting the Technology Shared Services teams' updates and presenting key project highlights to the Technology department and BetMGM Executive team in addition to leveraging real-time dashboards and metrics.Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to the Technology Shared Services team by prioritizing and assigning IT initiatives and tasks, and providing support and guidance throughout initiatives
• Serve as the acting department lead when the Director of Technology Strategy and Transformation is unavailable by attending meetings, providing updates to senior leadership, and managing team members, when needed
• Serve as the first point of escalation for initiative roadblocks and/or risks
• Work with the Director of Technology Strategy and Transformation to understand the strategic needs of the business and Technology department and incorporate them into the Technology Shared Services priorities
• Review and finalize work products such as user guides, business communications, and process documents to ensure quality standards are adhered to
• Manage relationships with key Technology vendors by ensuring contacts and agreements are up to date, optimizing pricing, and escalating billing inquiries
• Optimize tool rollouts by developing and/or coordinating rollout communications and training material to relevant stakeholders
• Maintain enterprise tools and Technology knowledge bases by meeting with stakeholders regularly to ensure tool configuration is continually aligned with business strategy
• Provide direct line management to several functions by setting performance objectives and providing guidance and coaching to ensure set objectives are met
• Leverage data to create KPIs and dashboards to increase business visibility into overall Technology department performance and IT project performancesQualifications
  • Bachelor's or advanced degree in business preferred, but not required
  • 5+ years of experience managing a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience working in an IT Procurement function
  • Ability to inspire via superior communication & interpersonal skills are required, experience communicating and interacting with executive teams is preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver within provided timelines by scoping initiatives and developing and maintaining a comprehensive project schedule
  • Proven leadership experience, especially in building, leading, and motivating mid-size teams
  • Expertise and demonstrated success in resource optimization and reporting
  • Experience rolling out enhancements to enterprise tools that promote workflow efficiencies
  • Ability to successfully work across cultures and locations, driving team cohesion and effectiveness
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully partner with a wide range of stakeholders including vendors, regulators, partners, and third parties
  • Experience using tools such as Smartsheet, Microsoft Project, Service Now, Trello, etc. to optimize team efficiency
  • Experience working alongside global stakeholders
  • Experience in gaming, hospitality, retail, or similar industry preferred
  • PMP certification is desired, but not requiredThe annual salary range for this position is $136,320 to $178,920. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for participation in a performance-based bonus plan.Gaming Compliance & Licensing RequirementsAs an online gaming company, BetMGM is required to comply with state gaming regulations which includes licensing obligations. Applicable employees must be licensed by at least one jurisdictional agency, although certain positions require licensing by multiple agencies. Failure to become licensed or maintain licensure with each agency as required for the role may result in termination of employment.
