  • Research Psychiatric Center, located in Kansas City, MO, is looking for a Travel RN specializing in mental health and behavioral issues. ACTIVE BLUE CARD CPI and BLS certifications are required to submit.
    • Job Requirements
    • The ability to assess patients' mental health status, including recognizing signs of psychiatric disorders, substance use, and behavioral problems.
    • Developing individualized care plans for patients with mental health and behavioral issues.
    • Administering psychiatric medications and monitoring for side effects or adverse reactions.
    • Providing immediate, short-term support to patients in crisis.
      • Schedule Information
      • Coverage is required for three 12-hour shifts each day, seven days a week, including weekends. Days off are not guaranteed unless specified in the contract.
        • Unit Specific Information
        • Unit specifics include ADOL, Serenity, ITU, SRAD, and VINE. Dress code for Nurses is blue, MHT's wear green or black.
