Inova Solutions has an immediate need for a Microsoft Transact SQL (T-SQL) Developer in Kansas City MO:

Candidates must be local to the Kansas City Area and willing/able to come onsite IF/WHEN needed.
This is a 6 month contract to hire, candidate must be able to work fulltime W2



The ideal candidate will excel in troubleshooting and supporting custom applications, as well as in building new systems. Key responsibilities include crafting complex SQL queries, ensuring their stability and performance, and collaborating closely with team members and stakeholders to fulfill business objectives.
Job Responsibilities:Design and Develop Database Structures:** Create and implement new database systems tailored to project requirements, including tables, indexes, views, functions, and stored procedures.
Write Complex SQL Queries:** Develop, implement, and optimize stored procedures, functions, and triggers using T-SQL.
Database Performance:** Ensure databases are performing efficiently, securely, and remain highly available.
Data Management Support:** Provide essential data management support, including data extraction and load processes related to engineering and construction.
Collaboration:** Partner with product owners, business analysts, corporate database analysts, and other developers to address business needs.
Documentation:** Prepare thorough documentation and specifications for database design, coding, and testing.
Performance Tuning:** Analyze and enhance existing SQL queries for performance improvements and optimize database systems for maximum efficiency.
Problem Resolution:** Proactively identify potential issues and deliver timely solutions.
Stay Updated:** Keep abreast of the latest advancements and industry trends in database development.


Experience:3+ years of experience in SQL Server development.
Strong expertise in Transact-SQL (T-SQL), including stored procedures, functions, and triggers.
Proficiency in database design, data modeling, and normalization.
Familiarity with SQL Server tools (e.g., SSMS, Profiler, DTA).
Advanced skills in writing and optimizing SQL queries within the context of stored procedures.
Ability to design and implement robust database schemas.
Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
In-depth knowledge of performance tuning and optimization techniques.
Solid understanding of data security and privacy principles.
