A company is looking for an Executive Director of Research Security & Export Control Officer.



Key Responsibilities

Establish and oversee a comprehensive Research Security program, providing leadership on research security requirements and guidelines
Develop processes to identify and respond to research security concerns, collaborating with various University offices
Serve as the lead resource for monitoring regulatory developments and ensuring compliance with export control regulations


Required Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of seven years of relevant experience, or a Master's Degree with a minimum of five years of relevant experience
Comprehensive knowledge of research security and export control regulations applicable in an academic setting
Extensive knowledge of research administration and compliance principles
Ability to communicate complex policies and regulations effectively to non-experts
Strong leadership and team-building skills with the ability to motivate and manage competing demands
