Our talented team has over 25 years of experience providing analytical services for stand-alone and integrated biologics projects.Catalent Pharma Solutions in Kansas City, MO is hiring an experienced Proposal Development Professional to join our BioAnalytics Division supporting the Kansas City, MO site. As a key client services team member, the Proposal Lead is responsible for the project management proposal process, including leadership of cross-functional teams to scope opportunities and gain key stakeholder review and approval, as appropriate.-- The role also includes the pricing and generation of proposals, to deliver quality and on-time Quotations to Clients in partnership with the Business Development team.This is a full-time role position: Monday-Friday, Days. • Facilitate Client Services activities at Kansas City, RTP, and new BioAnalytical site, for the purpose of BioAnalytics activities
• Control/own the process for initiation of SOW/CO, generation of documentation/pricing, and deliverables at each site
• Act as subject matter expert and resource on contracting process.
• Coordinate with functional areas to ensure capacity, timing, and delivery, are aligned
• Communicate directly with clients (internal and external) regarding deliverables and on-going discussions
• Support Project Management, Operations, Legal, and Business Development, regarding the proposal process. Support negotiations for Terms & Conditions or Service agreements
• Maintains templates to support training, statements of work, and pricing, to support Client Services activities. Facilitate harmonization across BioAnalytics sites
• Support our Sales Operations team in reporting and data management
• All other duties as assigned;--The Candidate--
  • Required a Bachelor's Degree in related life science or physical science field
  • A minimum of three years of experience in a contracting or other business-related role in the Pharma / Biotech services industry; direct experience in a BioAnalytics or Analytics environment highly preferred
  • Previous Proposals, Business Development, and/or Project Management experience preferred
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Internet Explorer required
  • Possess good communication and problem-solving skills highly desired
