Job Title: CNC MachinistPosition Overview:
We are looking for an experienced CNC Machinist to join our team! If you have extensive mill machining experience and a solid understanding of CNC operations, programming, and machine maintenance, this is an excellent opportunity for you. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, programming, and operating CNC machinery, ensuring high-quality production, and collaborating with a team to drive process improvements.Duties & Responsibilities:

• Read & Interpret Process Sheets & Blueprints: Analyze job specs to determine machining operations, dimensional requirements, and setup procedures.
• CNC Programming & Operation: Program machines to cut parts and maintain consistent, high-quality production cycles.
• Precision Measurement: Use calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and other tools to ensure part precision.
• Machine Setup: Mount, install, align, and secure tools, attachments, fixtures, and workpieces using hand tools and precision instruments.
• Calculate Machine Parameters: Optimize machine speed, feed rates, and cutting specifications.
• Quality Control: Inspect first-run pieces and periodically check subsequent pieces to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Diagnose and perform preventive maintenance on machines to minimize downtime.
• Collaboration: Work with the team to continuously improve CNC processes and enhance productivity and quality.
• Additional Duties: Perform other tasks as needed to support operational efficiency.Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • 5-7 years of mill machining experience, with a proven track record in CNC operations.
  • Experience with live tooling for advanced machining operations.
  • Strong math and computer skills for programming and operation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • High attention to detail to ensure accuracy and quality.
  • Solid understanding of metal cutting and machining practices.
