Perform programming, preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, calibration, project implementation and network integration for automated industrial control systems on highly automated packaging lines in consumer goods manufacturing environments. This position requires international USA, Canada, and Mexico travel.

*** Oversee full industrial control system project implementation on both hardware and software problems.

*** Drive plant control system upgrades.

*** Perform new equipment installations.

*** Calibrate instrumentation and equipment.

*** Diagnose and correct PLC problems to minimize downtime, including connecting to the PLC, reading ladder logic, programming, and diagnosing hardware and software problems.

*** Diagnose, repair, and replace electrical components of machines including motors, relays, overloads, cables, switches, sensors, and variable speed drives.

*** Troubleshoot and calibrate control panels using relay logic; Cam-driven switch boxes; heat and humidity control systems; process control valves; pneumatic control systems; hydraulic control systems; metal detection systems; ink jet coding systems, electronic scaling systems, electronic meters.
